Homecare and Home Support

We help people to live comfortably and safely in their own home.

Healthvision provides a seven-day 24-hour service to meet the needs of people who require assistance to remain in the comfort and security of their own home.

Our Homecare clients include people of all ages, and with varying needs - from a young person living with a complex disability, to an older person requiring home help.

Healthvision specialises in complex and high-needs care. We believe everyone has the right to live in the place they feel most at home and with our client-focused approach, we will always find a way to achieve this.

As an experienced provider of home support and rehabilitation services to ACC clients, we have an excellent track record for assisting with rehabilitation and increased client independence.

Services for ACC clients

We have a well-established and successful record in the provision of services to people who need support following an accident. This can be either short term or long term, and can involve our clients either regaining or maximising their independence.

We will work with you (and your family or support people) to develop a personalised support plan, that supports your rehabilitation or independence goals.

Healthvision has a team of registered nurses available, and is contracted by ACC to provide Nursing Services to ACC clients. Should there be a need for nursing input to your care, we can work with you and ACC to provide it.

We support our clients' choices, and recognise that you may have someone you know who you want to be part of your paid care team. You can nominate a friend or family member to be part of your team. We'll undertake our routine checks, and if you and we agree they are suitable, we can employ them. They will still need to attend our training, and work within our quality standards. If you are currently providing homecare for one of your friends, or a family memberwe are able to assist you. Currently your friend or family member may be directly funded, and having to pay provisional tax, GST, and ACC levies. If you, or they would like us to help, we can manage pay and tax obligations, allowing you to focus completely on the vital job of caring for them. As described above, the benefits include regular pay, tax and ACC levies taken care of, training, and if suitable, other opportunities for employment at Healthvision.

You can rely on us to be there when you need us. We have someone available to talk to you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week if you have any concerns about your wellbeing or your support.
