Kevin Boyle

Occupational Therapy

Kevin has been working in healthcare for over 25 years starting in the health and fitness industry before progressing to Occupational Therapy and achieving a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Honours Degree in 2011. Kevin has been working at Healthvision as Clinical Lead since 2016.

Kevin has worked most of his career in neurological rehabilitation and primarily in leadership positions. A special interest Kevin has is working with people recovering from Spinal Cord injury living in the community. Kevin was successful in being nominated to implement a pilot project scheme working as an Occupational Therapist in a predominantly nurse led team for transitional care to the community as a case manager for spinal injury people. This project is now utilised in every spinal injury centre across the United Kingdom.

Kevin is proud to have played an instrumental role with the Healthvision team during 2016 – 2019 informing changes to the ACC training for independence contract working advisory group to implement better transitional pathways from acute care into the community for people who had sustained a brain injury. This continues to be a success with ACC and Kevin continues to attend various levels of engagement with ACC informing advisory groups on new ways of working with some of our most vulnerable people in the community.

Kevin is a passionate leader of people, thrives on challenges and working as part of a large multidisciplinary approach utilising the philosophy of “people helping people”.
